Harry Pickup
Auctioneer and Valuer
Harry studied Fine Art at Newcastle University, graduating in 2018, with a focus on traditional printmaking techniques. Having always had an interest in history and art, Harry pursued a career in the auction industry after moving back to his home county of Cheshire.
His first role was at auction software company Go Auction. Here he visited several auction houses across the country, training and supporting their staff as well as designing websites.
In 2020 he joined Nantwich firm Wilson55 (previously Peter Wilson’s). As valuer and auctioneer, Harry developed experience across many areas, with a focus on furniture, clocks and collectables.
He joined Anderson & Garland in 2024 as a general valuer, returning to the North East looking to further expand on his knowledge, and is excited to work with our team of experienced valuers.
