Our Fine Art sale offers a collection of carefully curated paintings, watercolours, drawings and prints. We are pleased to offer a range of works to include a beautiful Cornish seascape by Edmund Fuller, a delightful portrait miniature by John Smart, and a beguiling watercolour of Knaresborough by Mary Adshead. Highlights include a significant 17th-century Amsterdam School work, alongside a selection of works by northeast favourite Robert Jobling.

We are pleased to share our Country House and Fine Interiors auction, including rare examples by Howard and Sons, Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson, and Wedgwood Fairyland. Also included is a stunning selection of furniture spanning the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and a Regency period mirror. Further highlights include a Sunderland creamware mug, a pair of engraved glass goblets, a Moorcroft Claremont pattern bowl, a Wedgwood Fairyland lustre vase, and a Royal Crown Derby tazza.

We are also pleased to offer further artefacts from RMS Olympic, sister ship to the ill fated Titanic, with two lots offering sets of lights salvaged from the vessel when she was broken up for scrap in the late 1930s.

This sale also includes a strong showing of Asian art within this Country House sale, reflecting a flourishing market with thriving Asian economies driving exceptional results across all collecting areas. Highlights include a pair of Chinese Qing mythical beast jars and covers in Kangxi style, a Chinese carved celadon jade (nephrite) Zun owl vessel and cover probably dating to the late Shang dynasty, an early twentieth century Chinese export dragon bowl by Zeewo, and an Edo period Japanese Arita porcelain charger.
