Hannah completed her university education at the University of Glasgow, first studying law as an undergraduate, before combining her legal education with her interest in the art market, completing a masters degree in Art History: Collecting and Provenance.
After gaining experience in the legal sector – with both cultural heritage and private client focus - Hannah delved into the auction world, joining the valuation team at McTear’s Auctioneers in Glasgow in 2017. As valuer and auctioneer, Hannah developed experience across all areas, including silver, ceramics, jewellery and sporting medals.
With a strong interest in all aspects of the art market, Hannah has a passion for research and has enjoyed past work as researcher and guest lecturer for the Institute of Art and Law.
In her spare time, Hannah enjoys socialising and exploring the museums, restaurants and bars of the city of Newcastle. A lover of the great outdoors, Hannah loves discovering new running routes, and climbing munros in her native Scotland when the weather allows!
