Fred is a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (FGA)
He is director responsible for our jewellery, watches, and silver departments, the only one in the region with qualified specialists. His other specialist areas include Coins, Militaria, Toys and Pop Culture
A proud Northerner, Fred studied at Mowden Hall in Northumberland and Ampleforth College in Yorkshire, before joining the firm in 2007.
Following a management buyout in 2017, he was appointed a Director of the Business. Since then, his reputation, together with that of the management team, has enabled them to assemble a team of specialist valuers, unrivalled in the North of England and the Scottish Borders.
He is also an Associate of the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers (SOFAA)
