The Ercol factory of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire was founded in 1920 by Lucian R Ercolani.
Its output from the mid 20th Century to the present day consists of hand crafted furniture constructed predominantly in beech, elm and ash.
Items from the iconic ‘Windsor’ collection, originally launched in 1946, are most popular with collectors today, particularly those from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Their design blends the traditional look with that of Scandinavian style furniture and looks as fresh today as it did when introduced..
We hold three auctions a year dedicated to iconic mid/late 20th Century furniture and achieve top prices for our customers.
Simply fill out the online valuation form below for a free pre-sale estimate or ring 0191 430 3000 to arrange a free pre-sale valuation with one of our specialists at our Newcastle salerooms. Home visits are available for larger collections.
Please remember, selling by auction in the only way to achieve the true value of your possessions. We act as your agent at all times and are here to maximize your return, for which we take a fixed percentage commission.
Don’t be misled, misguided or even tricked into selling your items to Auction houses or Dealers for cash deals. They offer way under market value and then go on to sell the items for a vast profit.
