An 18th Century Scottish broad sword, for the MacTavish Clan, the 81cms (32in.) single edged blade on a hilt with steel basket guard pierced with two boar head crests around garters decorated with blued-metal inlay inscribed 'Non Oblitus', around a wire bound shagreen grip and tapering pommel, 94cms.
