Lot: 1751 to 1955 - 13th Dec, 2024 10:00
We bring our fantastic year of sales to a close with this brilliant upcoming Country Sports Auction on Friday 13th December. With over 200 lots due to come under the hammer, this sale is bound to have something for all your sporting needs.
This sale offers an excellent selection of reels, tackle, and rods for every fisherman and collector. Highlights of these sections include an early 20th Century Farlows & Co. fly reservoir containing approximately six hundred salmon and trout flies, a spectacular early Victorian brass and mahogany salmon fishing reel by J. & A. McNab, Perth, and many other collector's pieces.
It wouldn’t be a Country Sports auction without a selection of Hardy equipment, and so this sale offers almost 70 lots containing pieces by this esteemed maker. Not only do we have an outstanding range of reels and rods by Hardy, this sale also boasts a collection of flies that are believed to have once been tied by Tommy and Dolly Weatheritt, fly tyers for Hardy.
Alongside these fishing highlights, this upcoming auction also features a selection of taxidermy, books, riding boots, and other country sport related items.
This sale is guaranteed to hold something to entice both collectors and sportspersons so make sure to join us for our last sale of the year! Our viewing will take place on Wednesday 11th December from 10am-3pm. We hope to see you there!
