Comprising of over a staggering 700 lots, our expansive and eclectic Collectors' Auction commences with a bang at 10am on Wednesday 1st May! Kicking off the action is an incredible collection of musical instruments, vinyl records and musical ephemera. Fender and other guitars; violins; accordions; concertinas and much more.

These aren’t the only instruments encompassed, with this auction catalogue boasting an interesting array of scientific instruments, including surveyors levels, sextants, an Eidograph, and others. Military issue, gold cased and other compasses are included, as are a selection of binoculars, by names including Swarovski Optik.

A fine collection of whisky and wine is an unmissable feature of the forthcoming Collectors Auction. Highlights include desirable drams such as Islay Mist,  Balvenie, Lagavulin, Macallan, Glen Grant, Glenmorangie and much more.

A collection of toys and models are included, with a brilliant array of diecast model vehicles by makers such as Matchbox, Corgi and Lledo. These will go under the hammer alongside a selection of collectors models, dolls, dolls houses and teddies, with limited edition collector’s Steiff teddy bears, from Only Fools and Horses ‘Del Boy’ to charming Royal Commemorative examples included. Other lots of note include a rather handsome Haddon rocking horse, and an eye-catching ‘Miami Edition’ Monopoly boardgame by artist Romero Britto.

A diverse range of military collectibles is included, comprising weaponry, medals, shell cases, Zippo lighters, and much more. An impressive selection of country sports items will likewise be offered, with shotguns, leather gun cases, fishing rods and reels amongst the lots that shall go under the hammer.

Scratch built and other model ships, ships wheels and other items of nautical interest. Colliery interest collectibles are elsewhere included, with brass miners dials, mining checks and tokens, and a range of miners lamps set to be sold.  

Highlights of this forthcoming sale include, to name but a few… A fine collection of books including popular Folio Society and other volumes; collectible comics and magazines; first day, coin covers, face value and other stamps; enamel advertising signs; Victorian and later taxidermy; vintage fashion and textiles, from antique Oriental to vintage Burberry; an ever-popular Singer 222K sewing machine; a Victorian wrestling belt; an unusual 22ct gold Penny Black; and a glittering collection of gold sovereigns, half sovereigns, and other coins.
