Valuations & Appraisals

When not arranging Auction Sales our team of Senior Specialists are pleased to undertake written valuations for insurance, probate, family division and realisation purposes.

All valuations are carried out with the utmost discretion and professionalism. Each one is tailored to the individual client’s specific requirements and can include digital photographs upon request.

Anderson and Garland’s insurance valuations are accepted by all the leading insurance companies and underwriters. Our Valuations team and specialist consultants are able to offer a service and expertise unrivalled in the Northern Counties and Borders. Whether you have a single item or a major house contents, we will provide a valuation that will be invaluable in the event of a loss and relevant for many years. We recommend that all insurance valuations are updated every five years or so. This is a relatively inexpensive exercise.

Most of our day-to-day work is firmly based in the North East of England and the Borders but we do travel further afield for specialist valuations. In recent times our Directors have provided valuations for Insurance and Probate purposes in London and the Home Counties, Penzance, Wales, the Scottish Highlands and all areas in between.

We are pleased to give a firm estimate of any work to be carried out once requirements have been discussed.
