Silver & Objects of Vertu

This has been our biggest growth area at auction over the past few years, with high prices being achieved across the board. Demand at auction has been driven by high prices for gold and precious metals.

Our Silver department handles a wide range of items from the 16th Century through to the present day. A typical quarterly fine sale can include traditional English antique silver as well as items from Europe, China, Russia, America and India. Objects of Vertu covers a wide collecting area and includes items such as decanter labels, nutmeg graters, card cases, vinaigrettes and collectors' boxes.

Silver and objects of more modest value are sold in our fortnightly Town & County sales.

All sales are fully illustrated and promoted on this and other collectors websites.

We welcome single pieces through to whole collections. If you would like to discover more about our sales or arrange a valuation for sale, probate or insurance please contact us....
